Shelbyville Central High School Class of 2004 

East Tennessee State University Class of 2008; B.S. Mass Communications with a concentration in Advertising; Minor: Marketing 

Work Experience: 

This will be my second-year teaching Criminal Justice at Cascade High School. Before I started teaching, I worked 14 years in the Criminal Justice field. I have worked for Rutherford County Detention Center (2 years), Department of Children Services (3 years), and Bedford County Juvenile Court (9.5 years). 

Life: 

I have been married to my husband, Cody Swift (who is a Detective Lieutenant for the Criminal Investigation Division of the Shelbyville Police Department), for 12 years and have one child named “Jax”son who attends Cascade Elementary School.
