The Cascade High School Band Program seeks to teach music through performance in band. 
The study of music enhances a student's abilities in the following areas creative problem solving, critical thinking, innovation, effective communication, team work, self-discipline, friendship, having fun, improved academic performance in all subjects, and it helps communities share ideas and values among cultures and generations and is a disciplined human endeavor with intrinsic value to society.
The Cascade High School Band Program is an award winning program.  Here are a few of their accomplishments.  
-16 Time Marching Band State Finalist
-3 Time Tennessee Division 1 State Champion
-7 Time TN Bandmasters Sweepstakes Award Winner for all Superior Ratings in Marching and Concert Band
-Finalist Band and Class AA Winner at the MTSU Contest of Champions
- Past Bands of American Regional Class Champion
-Multiple Grand Championships at local marching competitions
-Multiple students selected to the All-State and All-Mid State Honor Bands
The Cascade Band also regularly travels to Orlando to perform in the Disney World Parade and to New York City to perform at the Statue of Liberty and work with Broadway musicians.  The Band has performed a side by side concert with the Nashville Symphony on 3 occasions.
