Coaches
I’m Coach Meg. I started playing volleyball in the 9th grade and immediately fell in love with the sport. I played three years on varsity at Cherry Hill East High School in New Jersey. I played at Jersey Juniors Volleyball Club for four years. I played at Montclair State University in Little Falls, New Jersey for three years. My senior year was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Family Science and Human Development from Montclair State in 2021. I also graduated with my Master's in Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University in 2023.
I started coaching when I was in the 10th grade. I began my coaching career by facilitating youth camps and clinics. I also helped facilitate summer programs and practices. I began my club coaching career with SideOut Sports in Fairfield, New Jersey. I coached for one year at Jersey Juniors Volleyball Club and Paul VI High School before I moved to Tennessee. After I moved here, I began coaching for Alliance Volleyball Club in Murfreesboro. I became the Cascade Volleyball Coach in May of 2023.
A few fun things about me: I am a huge Kansas Jayhawks fan, I have a dog named Mac, and I love coaching indoor volleyball, but I prefer to play on the sand.
I am Coach C. I graduated from Cascade in 2017 and then went on to pursue a degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While there, I played one year on the softball team. I graduated from UTC with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics: STEM Education. From there, I went directly to Middle Tennessee State University working with the Math department as a Graduate Assistant while pursuing my Master’s degree in mathematics. My time around the volleyball court just recently started when I began coaching volleyball in the Fall of 2023. During my first season, I learned A LOT and have really enjoyed being a part of the game.
During my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and hanging out with family and friends.
