About Mrs. Yates!

Hello!  I teach Geometry and Honors Geometry at Cascade High School - I have taught here since fall of 2006!  I graduated college from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (GO VOLS!) and I began my teaching career in Smyrna, Georgia.  After teaching for four years there, I moved back to Tennessee and taught for 11 years at Smyrna High School in Rutherford County before coming to Bedford County.  I have taught many different math classes, but Geometry is my favorite to teach.  I am also the teacher of record for the Online Geometry course for Bedford County Schools.

I have had four kids go through Cascade Schools, and I now have the oldest of my four grandchildren at Cascade Elementary School!  While we are definitely an orange and black household, my husband brings in a little purple as he teaches 5th grade at Community Elementary!
