Kelly Parker/Librarian

My name is Kelly Parker. I've been teaching 33 years. I retired at the end of the 22-23 school year to job share at Cascade Elementary School. I taught 5th and 6th grade ELA at Community Elementary for the first ten years of my career. The rest of my teaching career was spent at Cascade Elementary where I taught 4th and 5th grade ELA, Social Studies and Science.

 

This year I begin a new adventure job sharing with Beth Thomas in the library. I am excited to continue being a part of the Cascade community and seeing my past students in the high school setting!

 

I have been married to Kenny Parker for 30 years and we have 2 sons, Aaron and Caleb. Kenny, Aaron and Caleb are all graduates of Cascade High School. I have a dachshund named Finley Jo and two cats named Black Kitty and Gray Kitty. Can you guess what color their fur is? :) I enjoy reading, watching reality shows like Big Brother and Survivor and spending time with my family.
