Welcome to Senior English!

From an extremely early age, I wanted to teach.  I graduated from SCHS in 1995 and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN with a B.S. in English Education in 1999.  I began teaching at SCHS and taught Language Arts 9, Language Mechanics 9, Honors Sophomore English and Senior AP Literature and Composition.

After a much-appreciated sabbatical with my family, I returned to teaching in the spring of 2024 at Cascade High School.  It’s been a great surprise to come back to the classroom to find out that some of my new students are the children of my former students from SCHS years ago.

My husband and I are grateful as well that our children attended Cascade Schools.  I’ve enjoyed cheering on the bleachers, shouting in lawn chairs, sweating in concession stands and now serving in the classroom. I’m excited to read and write new chapters with the Champs at Cascade High School.
