About Me

Hello, I am the Career and Head Baseball Coach of Cascade High, and I am currently in my third year at the school. This will be the 2nd year of the Career and Development Program, and our goal is to assist the students in developing a 4 year-plan and helping them transition into the workforce and careers that best suits each of them individually. Through our ICON Program, (Innovative Career Opportunity Netwok) we were able to find employment for over 50 students across Bedford County, in their focus of study. I am eager and anxious to see this program thrive and to be able to help the future (students) of our communities and country.  

 

As the Head Baseball Coach of Cascade going into year two, we are looking to pick up where we left off in year one. We finished the season with the most wins in a single season since 2012(16). The Champions also won the District Title for the first time since 2012 and won the Region for the first time since 2018. We will be losing a big portion of our offense with the departure of 3 seniors and All-District Players (Chance Brown, Noah McGeary and Jaxon Sheffield) and one of those being selected to the 2A All-State Team in Jaxon Sheffield. Returning will be a host of Seniors (9) led by All-District Players, Sawyer Lovvorn and Walker Craig and group of young players that highly contributed to the success of the 2022-23 season.
