Interventionists from across #BedfordCountySchools recently gathered for a meaningful session that marked their final meeting with Mrs. Susan Huff, who is retiring at the end of September, and the beginning of a transition as Dr. Sandra Powell prepares to continue leading this important work.

Throughout their time together, our Interventionists have worked to strengthen supports for students across BCS, sharing ideas, collaborating and focusing on strategies that help #students grow and succeed. 📚🌟

🍓🍊🍫 Turning Food Into Art! 👩‍🍳✨

Culinary Arts II students at Cascade High School, under the instruction of Megan Sager, recently explored the art of food presentation during a hands-on garnishing lab! 🍽️

#Students learned how to create edible garnishes using a variety of ingredients, including oranges, chocolate, strawberries and more, while discovering how to choose the right garnish to complement a dish and enhance its overall presentation. 🎨✨

This hands-on experience gave students the opportunity to put their culinary skills and creativity to work while learning the attention to detail that goes into professional food presentation. 👏👩‍🍳

As part of the meeting, staff completed Child Abuse Coordinator Training, strengthening their knowledge and preparedness to help protect and support #students when it matters most.
