Olive's Biology Class

Welcome to Biology!!! I look forward to an exciting year with each of you. 

 

A little about me...this is my 16th year at Cascade High School and 15th year teaching. I have taught 7th grade Science, Physical Science, Chemistry, Earth Science, Anatomy and Physiology, and my passion...BIOLOGY. 

 

I originally majored in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology and minored in Psychology. After years of being a stay-at-home mom, I went back to school to obtain my education license and have been teaching ever since. I am actually going back this fall to MTSU to finish my masters in education. 

 

I have been married to my Mark for 22 years and we have 3 children. Bailey, who is soon to turn 21, is attending Harding University in Arkansas and is double majoring in Trauma Social Work and Biblical Ministries. Blake, who graduated this past spring, will be attending MTSU and majoring in Business. My youngest is Brody, who is 15 and a sophomore here at Cascade High School. We have 2 German Shepherds, Athena which is 5 and Zeus which is 2. 

 

In my spare time, I absolutely love reading books, gardening, kayaking, camping, hiking, and traveling.
