This is Patrick Hasty at Cascade High School. Let me first say, I am extremely humbled and excited to serve CHS as principal. Being a K-12 Cascade graduate, this school and community mean the world to me. The impact the Cascade family has had on my life cannot be put into words. CHS has an outstanding staff, student body, and supportive families. We will work hard to maintain a tradition of excellence for this community. Thank you for your support!
I wanted to also give a couple of important announcements. Cascade High School open house will take place next Thursday, July 30th from 4:00 to 6:00. We will have a new student/9th grade meeting in the auditorium at 5:15. There will be paper copies of student schedules available in the library. We hope to see everyone there!
We also want to share some important information for all students for the 2026–2027 school year. Per Bedford County Schools, all students must have a current proof of residence dated July 1, 2026, or later on file. For a list of acceptable proof of residence documents and additional enrollment information, please visit the Bedford County Schools website, click Schools, then How to Enroll.
These documents may be submitted on July 30th during Open House from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Proof of residency may also be emailed to Terry Niles at nilest@bedfordk12tn.net or turned into the front office at CHS. Please submit all required documentation no later than August 19th. Students who do not have the required documents on file by that date will not be able to remain at school and will need to be picked up. Any missed time will be considered an unexcused absence until the required documentation has been received. If you need any support with this, do not hesitate to reach out.
