Mrs. McElroy

Hi!  My name is Jill McElroy, and I am so excited to be the JAG Specialist here at Cascade High School.  JAGTN is the Tennessee affiliate of Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG), a non-profit organization dedicated to stewarding high school students toward graduation with follow through toward post-secondary education and/or job opportunities.

 

This class is all about YOU!  It's about helping YOU explore careers, and job or school options.  It about helping YOU graduate from high school!  It's about helping YOU to have a plan (and a plan B) after you graduate high school!  It's about helping YOU obtain the skills you need to be successful on any of those plans!

 

I have work experience as a civil engineer for the Florida Department of Transportation, a pilot in the US Navy, and fourteen years of teaching experience.  You do not have to choose now, what you will do forever.  However, I will help YOU prepare with a plan and skills that will help you be successful or enable you to switch gears as you move through life.

 

My husband Heath and I relocated with our family to Bedford County from east Tennessee two years ago.  We have 3 kids (7th, 8th, and 12th grade), and we are excited to be part of the Cascade family!
