Mr. Iorio – Biography
I was born in Brooklyn, NY. I earned a B.A. in Geology while playing football at Hamilton College. After several years in the oil and gas industry in Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma, I returned to college and earned an MBA degree from Florida Atlantic University while teaching high school science and coaching baseball, football, and boys’ and girls’ basketball in Boca Raton and Miami Florida.
My family and I moved to Middle Tennessee in 1994 where I held various teaching and administrative positions at Webb School, McGavock High School in Nashville, and Cascade High School. It is a true joy to be at Cascade High School where I interact with wonderful students and families and where every day is a good day.
My wife, Leslie, and I have four children Grace, Michelle, Thomas, and Anthony (a high school athletic trainer, a medical imaging technician, a doctor, and a U.S. Congressional staff member). We also have three grandchildren: Mia, Mitchell, and Brooks.
My wife and I like to kayak, ride bikes, hike, cook (and eat), spend time with family, stay involved in our church, and travel in the U.S.
